Event Time and Date

Wednesday, December 4 2013, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

The SUNY Oneonta Department of Physics and Astronomy is pleased to announce its fall schedule for the public planetarium and observatory nights.  Public nights are scheduled for September 11, October 9, November 6, and December 4.

Each evening has a planetarium show scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and public observing at the College Camp Observatory at 8:00 p.m. or sunset, whichever is later.  All shows are free and open to the public, will highlight the constellations, stars, and planets visible in the night sky, and take you on a virtual voyage through the solar system and galaxy.

The planetarium is located on the basement level of the Science I Building on West Dormitory Road on the college campus.  No registration is necessary for the observatory viewing, but because seating in the planetarium is limited registration for the planetarium shows is required and tickets must be presented at the door.
